Main Objectives
The objectives of Change Future Uganda (CFU) are designed to address critical social, economic, and environmental challenges facing vulnerable youth, child mothers, and marginalized communities in Yumbe District and beyond. Each objective contributes to our mission to restore dignity, build resilience, and create sustainable livelihoods.
- Economic Empowerment: Support the economic independence of youth and child mothers through Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA), entrepreneurship development, and skills training in income-generating activities.
- Promotion of Life Skills: Equip individuals with practical life skills, including decision-making, leadership, financial literacy, and personal development to enhance self-reliance.
- Education and Return-to-School Support: Facilitate access to formal and non-formal education for young mothers and other vulnerable groups, including campaigns to encourage school re-enrollment and continued learning.
- Health and Wellbeing: Promote access to health centers, reproductive health education, and psychosocial support to improve physical and mental health among youth and families.
- Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture: Train farmer groups in sustainable agriculture, household gardening, and improved farming practices to strengthen nutrition and livelihoods.
- Environmental Conservation: Support tree planting campaigns and environmental awareness to combat deforestation, protect natural resources, and mitigate climate change.
